Capertee and District Progress Association.

The Association was formed to promote the district in terms of Capertee and District Progress Association rules as set out back in 1952. The main activities being:
(a) To promote the interests, businesses and better the conditions of of Capertee and District.

(b) To promote and conduct or allow the promotion or conduct of such sports, games,dances, concerts and pastimes, indoor or outdoor as may be

decided by the Association.

The current committee (Lyn Stanford, Judy Eckersley, Dorothy and Graeme Pike are passionate about the community of Capertee and regularly hold

markets and other fundraising events to keep the Capertee Hall open for community members so that Church services and Funeral events are free to

residents of Capertee.

We also have been active in obtaining grants for the Cat 6 Bulk water

tanker for Capertee RFS, to provide this wonderful firefighting asset to be used

in the Capertee District, We also obtained a grant to set up the Capertee Recreation and fitness trail.The Capertee Recreation and Fitness trail was set up by Graham Annovazzi and Catherine Palme. They were ably assisted by many of our local community members.
